Biography
FreaknMissy engages in vibrant melodies and high-energy enthusiasm.
Missy Percifield (Piercefield) was a child prodigy, but gave up the stringent classical boundaries...for the rock'n'roll of LA. She exported Darren Stroud (Strode) out of the Midwest when she heard his solo talents on guitar and teamed up to begin writing their catalog.
Backed by a huge catalog of originals and a few covers, the band is building a growing fan base of college-age youth to rock'n'roll passionate adults. With songs like "Polynesian Aphrodisiac", "Damage Control" and "Forward My Mail", they are spawning the attention and influencing the attitudes of audiences on the net and in the clubs. Their music is downloadable at iTunes & Amazon.com off their debut CD "Damage Control".
These attention-grabbing rockers are becoming perennial crowd pleasers with their attractive positive outlook, compelling vocal style, and big rock guitars. The music is addictive, the fashion is fun to watch as these skilled musicians become vigilant artists -- convicted to the music, purposeful and concise in their progress and dedicated to creating the best of the rock alternative stream.
